Rising Prices

As a school board member and County legislator, Josh voted to cut property taxes, cut the county gas tax, and cut fees for Nassau families. Rising healthcare costs, inflation, and supply chain issues are making it progressively more difficult for middle-class families to afford to live in New York. We have to take steps to lower the cost of living - keeping taxes low, tackling inflation, and preventing price gouging.

In Congress, Josh will continue the work he began in the Legislature. He will fight to get rising prices under control, tackle the supply chain issues plaguing our economy, eliminate the national gas tax to lower costs until prices are stable, while holding oil companies accountable for price gouging consumers, and making sure that families can afford to stay here. Josh will also work to cut taxes and fight to eliminate the cap on deductions for state and local taxes (SALT).
