I’m not going to forget anyone when I’m in Congress

As more at-home COVID tests are becoming available, I wanted to make sure some of our most vulnerable members of our community weren't left behind. That's why I hand delivered 1300 tests to the Woodbury Garden Senior Living Community:

And 600 tests to the Boys and Girls Club of Oyster Bay:

And 200 tests to Syosset American Legion Post and VFW:

I also hand delivered 400 tests to People's Pantry in Oyster Bay, our office delivered 400 tests to the safe Center of Long Island in Bethpage, and we will be delivering another 400 tests to St. John's of Lattingtown Church, and 600 tests to Woodbury Meadows Senior Community. The pandemic has laid bare the flaws in our system. So many people have fallen through the cracks as COVID ravages communities across the country. I wanted to make it clear to these folks that they won't be forgotten so long as I have something to do with it.

Politicians often get so lost in lofty rhetoric and gross partisanship that they forget that government is all about delivering for people. It's like politicians won't do small things because small things don't make the news. I'm running for Congress precisely because of all the small things we can do if we work together.

As the winter wears on – and as long as I need to – I'll make sure our seniors and veterans and children have the masks and tests they need to stay safe, even if I get to deliver them by hand.

Please stay safe, and don't hesitate to reach out if I can help you in any way,
